The successful tourist season in Dubrovnik has continued into the winter months… In November 18,080 tourists arrived in Dubrovnik, which is an increase of 14% compared November last year. Of this total 14,618 were foreign tourists and 3,462 were domestic tourists. The most numerous guests were from Croatia, followed by Japan, the United States, South Korea, BIH, Albania, the United Kingdom, Taiwan and Serbia. According to figures from the Dubrovnik Tourist Board the city achieved 41,543 overnight stays in November which is a 2% increase over last year.
From the beginning of this year until the end of November Dubrovnik has broken records, in terms of overnight stays, in all types of accommodation. 851,311 tourists have arrived in Dubrovnik so far this year, a whopping 12% increase over 2013. And over 3 million overnight stays have been recorded so far this year, an increase of 9% over 2013. Hotels have seen a 7% increase in guests and private accommodation has seen an unbelievable 38% rise in tourists compared to 2013.
Statistics also show that the most numerous tourists in Dubrovnik this year were from the UK, Germany, France, USA, Croatia, Sweden, Spain, Norway, Australia and Italy.
