The first charter flights from China will arrive in Croatia in February/March 2015. Three times a month charters will be landing at the airport Zemunik in Zadar. Chinese tourists will come from the city Chongquinga (38 million inhabitants) in pre-season and post-summer season.
The next meeting of the agency with Chinese partners will be in Chongqing for the signature of the main contract on cooperation with the airlines and to determine the starting date of the flights and meet certain administrative procedures.
In the beginning, Dubrovnik was mentioned as a destination for the landing of Chinese charters but in the end they choose Zadar due to excellent transport connections and the position of Zadar where Chinese tourists will be able to explore Croatia as well as neighboring Italy.
