Located 2 kilometres south of Poreč, Aquacolors will be one of the largest water parks in south-east Europe. Built on a 10 hectare site in an attractive location, the 25 million euro investment will be a good boost to the area. The new water park will feature 17 various water attractions and slides, heated pools, kids activities, restaurants and a relax-zone.
“Our aim is to offer a high quality service in combination with a great experience. Our absolute priorities are quality and safety. Our water park will be one of the most modern in Europe, we will offer new attractions and we will be an excellent addition to the tourist offering in Istria,” said Aquacolors project manager Jaroslav Krucky.
Construction is moving full steam ahead with more than 70 people working full-time on site. Aquacolors, which will have a capacity for 5,000 visitors per day and will create around 100 new jobs during the season, is expected to open on 16 May.
